Area 3 of Florida Artists Group announces THE BEAUTY OF SMALL, hosted by Ringling College of Art & Design, an all-media exhibition by FLAG artists, with size limits of 26″ x 26″. Opening reception was held on May 31st from 5-7pm and was open to the public. Docent tours can be arranged and the exhibition runs through June 20, 2019. Artists from other areas around the state are represented in this annual exhibition, juried by artist and writer,Lisa Cyr, of New York City. Awards were made on June 1st at Miguel’s restaurant on Siesta Key. 
Susan’s entry in The Beauty of Small, named Choosing the Right Path, has to do with the purposeful choice she contemplates in moving her painting in a different direction. The multi media structured abstract painting uses textures of many kinds including cork, dress patterns, cardboard and carpet padding to create the various shapes
